Fencing Build Overview

The project centred on the construction of 432 linear metres of new fencing, enclosing multiple double court layouts. Each enclosure was carefully set out and built to measure 144 linear metres per double court, ensuring consistency across the full installation.

All fencing structures were completed to a height of 3.6 metres, providing effective ball containment while maintaining an open, balanced visual profile across the courts.

The Build

Traditional Build Methodology

Setting Out for Consistency Across All Courts

NineCourts followed its established, traditional build methodology throughout — placing emphasis on:

  1. Straight, aligned structures across the full perimeter
  2. Even mesh tension for a clean, uniform finish
  3. A consistent look and feel across all courts

The result is a series of fencing enclosures that sit neatly within the school grounds, creating a professional sporting environment that is both functional and visually refined.

Detail

Look & Feel

Particular attention was given to how the fencing presents from both inside and outside the courts. The completed structures offer:

  1. Clean horizontal and vertical lines
  2. A strong yet unobtrusive frame around each court
  3. A cohesive finish that complements the surrounding school environment

The fencing does not dominate the space but rather defines it — framing each court in a way that feels structured, orderly, and purpose-built.

School Logo Integrated into the Surface

As part of the broader upgrade, NineCourts also installed sections of the InterLock Tiling System, incorporating the school’s logo into the layout.

These areas introduce a refined, modern finish around the courts, adding visual interest while maintaining durability and ease of maintenance. The integration of branding within the surface brings a bespoke element to the facility, reinforcing school identity without detracting from the overall design.
